From next month, the Pink Heart Society Founders will be returning to tell us how things have changed in the last seven years and what they're doing now. But since the very beginning, the PHS has been a group effort and today, we're delighted to be visited by another of our alumna, USA TODAY Bestselling Author, Mira Lyn Kelly.
Back in January of 2010, in her debut post as a columnist for the PHS, Mira told us about the sale of her first book. By May of 2010, she was working on her third and for a year, we followed her progress in the First Things First series.
Hey everyone!! Been a super long time, so for those of you who don’t know me, how about a little reintroduction. I’m Mira Lyn Kelly, write-at-home mom to four kiddies and one puppy beast, retired Pink Heart columnist & editor, homemaker non-extraordinaire, extreme stress baker, binge reader, hard core fan of romance in all its forms, resident of Minnesota (my second favorite state!) and survivor of this most recent Summer Break.
Okay, okay, put the torches and pitchforks away, lol. I love summer too! I love having my kids around, the flurry of activity, the sleeping in and cooking out… I love it. I do. But by the end of summer, even with all that fun, in those last few weeks the kids start getting a little squirrelly. A little bickery. A little… BORED.

Cue my right eye starting to twitch.
Seriously, those last few weeks can be a bear. And this year, muscling thru was even harder for me. Because this year, sweet September wasn’t just bringing the magic of Back-to-School, but also the first release in my brand new Dare To Love series from Loveswept, TRUTH OR DARE—which is out TODAY!!
AND if you want to help me celebrate, hop over to my Facebook Release party this evening, which is going from 5-9pm CST. I’ve got tons of author friends stopping by and even more prizes to give away. Here’s the link http://on.fb.me/1Bgbrp1
Hope to see you there!
So how about the blurb?
After her one attempt at commitment ends in the worst kind of betrayal, Maggie Lawson vows that the only people she’ll love ’til death do they part will be her friends. Unfortunately that means Maggie letting her bestie rope her into a year-long dating dare: score a new date each month or pay a penalty. Seems doable—until Maggie’s date stands her up, leaving only one option: the sexy stud who just moved in upstairs. The problem? He and Maggie can’t stop fighting—and that’s just the beginning.
His name is Tyler Wells and the last thing he needs is his neighbor distracting him with her girl-next-door smile and sharp tongue. Tyler’s in Chicago for one reason: to woo back his selfish ex in order to reclaim the child he once thought was his—and that means keeping Maggie out of his bed. A tall order, since Maggie has become a bigger temptation than he ever expected to face. But before they can even consider leaving the past behind, Maggie and Tyler must accept a brand-new dare: real, forever love.
Truth or Dare is out today, available on the Kindle, Nook, iTunes, Google Play, BooksAMillion and Kindle UK:
Thanks so much to the Pink Heart Society today for helping me celebrate my new release, it’s been great being back! And before I let you go, let me ask this…
What’s your favorite month of the year and why?
