Male on Monday:Winter Olympics

PHS Editor and Harlequin Historical author Michelle Styles examines the appeal of the Winter Olympics

There is something about the Olympics. It always throws up one or two good looking men. In the Summer Olympics lately it has been the rowers. In the winter, it tends to be the downhill skiers or poossibly the ice hockey players (did you see the US v Russia match on Saturday -- penty of good eye candy). I have had a soft spot for salom skiers ever since Ingemar Stenmark and for hockey players since Miracle on Ice. Okay giving away my age a bit but who cares!

It is also the dedication and determination of the athelete -- to be the best they can be.

So who has been the outstanding eye candy of this year's Winter Olympics? I have to say that US Ice Hockey had some very good looking players on it. And of course downhill has Kjietil Jansrud from Norway...who has happened to win a couple of golds and is very easy on the eye. He was born in Stavanger in 1985 and is nearly 6 ft tall.

Watching sport is so much more fun when there is a bit of eye candy involved.

Has anyone else spotted any good Olympic eye candy lately?
