The Pink Heart Society editor Jenna Bayley-Burke had a Male on Monday post all planned out in her head, and then the Billboard Music Awards came on and she decided to gush about that instead.
It is a fact universally acknowledged that musicians are hot. They have that sexy vibe going on that turns nickles into dimes. It's that laid back vibe, the smooth voice, and the words, oh, the words.
Yes, we know that most of the time they aren't the ones that spun those words into a song. But those words vibrate into our hearts and take hold. And so we love them all the more for the emotions they make us recognize.
The best authors show readers to new authors through reccomendations and collaborations. Musicians are the same. I know many people have been inocculated against Bieber fever, but I love his latest. Probably because it sounds like a Timberlake song, but also because Usher is still his biggest supporter.
Everyone looks so great at these awards shows. Not airbrushed perfect, but glam sqaud worked overtime good. Hair, clothes, swagger. It's such a delight to watch as I sit on my couch in my jammies with a cup of chamomile.
Thank you to all those handsome men who got dressed up tonight. I really enjoyed it.
Jenna Bayley-Burke is eagerly anticipating the release of her latest novel, Drive Me Crazy. The road trip romp has a haunted hotel, brothel museum, wild horses, and naughty behavior in a slot canyon. But you have to decide for yourself if there are really any ghosts. To keep up with Jenna, check her website, blog, Twitter, or Pinterest. She may have a bit of a Pinterest addiction.
