Male on Monday - Aidan Turner

Linda Thomas-Sundstrom returns with a new addition to the Male on Monday ranks - a sexy Irishman!

Well... how can you have a gorgeous male lineup without talking about an Irish actor who's gone from period costume to vampire fangs to . . . being cast as a (hunky) dwarf in Peter Jackson's new Hobbit movie?

Meet Aidan Turner - one of Ireland's best candidates for this Monday blog.

Aidan has been on the BBC for the last couple of years in the original British verison of the unique pararnormal series "Being Human," where he was a standout for gritty lush. With his dark hair, sinewy bod, chiseled looks, five o'clock shadow, and worn black leather jacket, well, you be the judge. The thing is, when he's all cleaned up dressed in brocade, as he was for another series called "Desperate Romantics" and the "Tudors," he's just as noteworthy. And as a dwarf in the upcoming Hobbit movie, I'm sure we'll have a whole new concept of the characters in Tolkien's books. I can't wait.

I saw Aidan in person at Comic-con 2010 in San Diego, and let me say that he is every bit as stunning and intense in person. So, oggle on, Pink Heart, and if you're a paranormal fan, just imagine those teeth!

Cheers-

Linda

Linda's new release for Nocturne is a Bite titled "Night Born."

Night Born:

Love and hate, vampire and slayer—opposites too closely connected for their own good?

After her mother is nearly killed, slayer-in-waiting Danika Douglas vows to destroy the vampire she believes is responsible—Alexander Kent. An experienced vampire older than sin itself, Alexander possesses dark good looks and a strong sensual allure.

Danika knows a slayer and her target are chained together by fate, compelled to find each other. Yet she never expected them to share such a powerful attraction, leaving Danika torn between revenge and desire….

  1. Ooh Aidan Turner, yes, he s incredibly hot. I wasn't fond of him as Rossetti, but he certainly was pretty. Can't wait to see him in The Hobbit. Richard Armitage and Aidan Turner in the film, I have died and gone to heaven!

  8. Jeanne D... If you look closely at my current Nocturne Bite cover posted here for "NIGHT BORN" you'll see Aidan!
Well, okay, you'll see a dark-haired immortal that is a close as the artists could get, I suppose.
His look is an inspiration for the dark side.
