Well... how can you have a gorgeous male lineup without talking about an Irish actor who's gone from period costume to vampire fangs to . . . being cast as a (hunky) dwarf in Peter Jackson's new Hobbit movie?
Meet Aidan Turner - one of Ireland's best candidates for this Monday blog.
Aidan has been on the BBC for the last couple of years in the original British verison of the unique pararnormal series "Being Human," where he was a standout for gritty lush. With his dark hair, sinewy bod, chiseled looks, five o'clock shadow, and worn black leather jacket, well, you be the judge. The thing is, when he's all cleaned up dressed in brocade, as he was for another series called "Desperate Romantics" and the "Tudors," he's just as noteworthy. And as a dwarf in the upcoming Hobbit movie, I'm sure we'll have a whole new concept of the characters in Tolkien's books. I can't wait.
I saw Aidan in person at Comic-con 2010 in San Diego, and let me say that he is every bit as stunning and intense in person. So, oggle on, Pink Heart, and if you're a paranormal fan, just imagine those teeth!
