Male On Monday : Paul Walker

The Pink Heart Society's founder, Trish Wylie has been calling for this man to get a Male On Monday slot since 2006! As I put this post together, I realized we should all listen to Trish a bit more...

The Fast and the Furious brought Paul Walker into the fantasies of many women. Little did we know we'd been seeing him since he was a baby...while growing up in California he was featured in commercials for Pampers and on popular television shows. But once we saw him as the smart and cuning undercover cop in the blockbuster action movie, he was impossible to forget.

What is it about a naughtly looking surfer boy that makes us want to ride the waves with him? Is it the amazingly toned physique, wicked grin, sparkling eyes, sun-kissed hair, a tan that doesn't seem to have any lines, the fluid walk, teasing talk? Even if we could pin down the recipe, who'd want to?

Walker's talent shone in Eight Below, released to critical-acclaim and opened in first place at the box office. More is to come from him on the big screen - Walker recently finished filming The Lazarus Project. The next film of The Fast and the Furious franchise comes out this summer. Right now he's hard at work on the crime drama Bone Deep with Matt Dillon and Hayden Christensen.

When he isn't making movies, he surfs, travels, walks his dog, hangs out with his 9 year-old daughter and has a passion for martial arts.

Quote :: "I live by 'Go big or go home.' That's with everything. It's like either commit and go for it or don't do it at all. I apply that to everything..."-Paul Walker

...and my personal favorite...""Life's too short. And the biggest curse is falling in love with somebody." If that doesn't sound like the perfect challenge for a romance writer looking for hero fodder...

Jenna is working on her latest for Modern Heat - so far it has cake, champagne and moonlight. In the meantime, Par For The Course is out, with car sex, an interesting approach to learning to golf, and a love story hazardous to your hankie supply. Oh, plus exploding toads... Check out Jenna's website, or blog.
